Singer Showcase

Not too long ago, I was asked to record a singer so she could send a Happy Birthday to her daughter serving in Iraq. I did this with no problem for her. As the night progressed other singers asked for similar requests. So I had a little bit of webspace where singers' songs could be uploaded and listened to at will. This has been expanded to a podcast and heard around the world from Australia, Canada, to England, Portugal, and of course the USA.

If you would like to get some airplay on Synergy's Website, all you have to do is send a MP3 file of yourself singing to I Wanna Be Heard! Please include the following with your submission:

  • Your Name
  • The Song Title
  • Your eMail address, in case I need to contact you about your song!

    • After reviewing for audibility, your vocal performances can be heard all over the world. We offer a unique solution for singers looking to find thier big break - upload a recording of your singing to be online.

    There are just a ONE caveat you have to remember when recording your song - DON'T stray from the sample rate of 44.1khz. The reason is that most players that are out there will expect 44.1khz for MP3 files. Some web based players, such as those players that are embedded in websites and written in Flash, will attempt to convert your MP3 files to sample rate that is divisable by 11.025 and consequently those that record at some unusual rate such as 48khz, will find their audio sounding like the Chipmunks if played on a web page.

    Karaoke above all is meant for one thing. FUN! It doesn't matter if you sing a tear jerking ballad, or an Adam Sandler comedy song. The main goal is to be out with friends and or family, to share some laughs, and to sing a few tunes. Nothing gets a better applause than a singer that is giving it their all and really having...FUN. And it doesn't matter if you can sing like a pro or can barely carry a tune.
